Notice of Service Fee Increase
Please take notice that WV Legislative Rule, 64-51-9.1 permits the Local Board of Health to propose fee for all its services. Activities affected include but not limited to evaluation of existing onsite sewage and water systems, plan review fee for small, medium and large establishments such as day care centers, bed and breakfasts, restaurants, hotels/motels, etc., and re-inspection fee of above listed establishments. Current permit fees will be modified to an application fee, paid when services are provided. Serv Safe classes, septic system and individual onsite water system permit re-issue fee and food establishment re-inspection fee. Testing of glucose, hemoglobin, cholesterol and hepatitis. A 30 day comment period begins as of this publication. Copies of the new fee for service schedule are posted at the Jefferson County Health Department, 1948 Wiltshire Road, Suite 1, Kearnesyville, WV 25430 and also at the Jefferson County Courthouse. If you have any further questions or comments, submit them in writing to the health department.
