School Inspection/Lunch Program
The Jefferson County Health Department performs two inspections of each school each year to ensure no environmental health risks are present as wells as inspections of each school food service facilities to ensure proper sanitation procedures are in place. Preparing and serving a safe and nutritious lunch for our school children and ensuring a safe environmental setting is of the highest priority for the Jefferson County Health Department.
